While escaping to Vancouver with Dave early this August, we discovered a great restaurant called Coast. But the better discovery were the Sawmill Bay Oysters… divine! These oysters are farmed in glacier fed waters on Read Island. This is a tiny island off our west coast that is home to only 50 inhabitants. I might just have to move there for those oysters!
Clearly I have to learn how to shuck my own oysters… stay tuned!
