Secret Stop #2 ~ peaseblossoms

Chocolates in hand (or mouth) saunter next door to visit Marika’s flower shop peaseblossoms.  Purchase a spring posy and hang around to savour the fragrance of fresh garden blooms.  peaseblossoms carries the most unusual varieties of flowers not typically seen in your standard flower vendors’ shops.  She carries at least 40 unique varieties that will have you brushing up on your flora genus and species… or just let the friendly and competent staff do the selecting for you.  We all know red roses represent passionate love, but did you know that daffodil’s mean please love me?  Buy some renunculus and be “dazzled and radiant”:)  Best of all you will be giving spring a little nudge in the right direction.  BTW “Peaseblossom” is a fairy in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream… I just might have to crack open that old tome!

I have to apologize for the poor quality of my photos.. these were taken in early years with shaky hands and inexperience with my camera’s features.. you really must pop in to see her blossoms for yourself.
