Ok, I finally decided to “skim” read it… it still moved pretty slow but it did have an interesting twist or two. I’m glad I finished it, but needed a day without interruptions so I had no excuse to put it down:) Good luck!
Let me know how that goes:) I’ve read a few more and it still ranks tops in my “book list”. I gave it to my mom.. I can’t wait to hear what her opinion of it is…
Okay, Barbara, I am about 5/6 of the way throught the Thirteenth Tale and am LOVING it!! Thanks for such a great recommendation! I know I’ll be up late finishing it tonight – always the sign of a great book.
This is so cute! I was thinking of doing the same sort of thing and I just might. I have about 10 of these books myself to read, so I’ll be very interested in hearing your opinion.

Your bookshelf looks SO much like mine! LOVE many of these books, and the ones I haven’t read are now on my “must read” list. Thanks!!
You’re welcome! I’ve been reading “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet”, having a tough time getting into it!
That one is on my bedside table with a bookmark near the beginning. I’ve started and stopped it twice. I SO wanted to love it…

I’ve read quite a lot of these, but must say that I loved The Thirteenth Tale – you’re the first person I’ve ever “met” who knows about that book!
I know!! isn’t it an under promoted book? It is undeniably one of the best I’ve ever read!
Indeed – I think I’ll choose it for my local bookclub next time…then at least a few more women in the world will know about it!

I know, hey?!! I wish every book was an… I can’t put it down… book! Glad you like it!
“The Art of Racing In The Rain” is one of my favorite books!
I agree! We still haven’t read it at book club… I’ll have to suggest it.
I love Enzo… I think he’s going to be a Christmas present for a few people this year!
A wonderful bookshelf, Barbara
