Nate’s Perfect Pantry Procrastination

“You should see Nate’s pantry,” I said over coffee and cereal one morning. “Who’s Nate?” my daughter asked. “Oh, Nate Berkus… you know, on the television show,” I replied. “Hahaha, oh, mom, you sound like he’s one of your best friends!” It was clearly time to turn off the television…but just thinking about two months…

This looks great! I save all of my glass jars from food and mason jars for the same purpose. I also use some of them for organizing things in the bathroom cabinets. You should look in to Krylon’s looking glass spray, it can give your glass a mirror like look or the old mercury glass look, depending on how generously you apply.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll have a look at this. It would be a cool finish!

Hahaha, yes wine can be inspiring all on its’ own! 4 kids and a pantry…it would be almost impossible for it to organized anyway:)

[...] The end bits from making my burlap ribbon wreath, the clay rabbit and two vintage books from my studio, my farm bud vase, white clay flower votives, the dried artichokes that were stashed on the top shelf in my pantry… (amazing what you find when you Spring Clean and reorganize) [...]

the rhubarb patch

And so it is Spring… and along with it comes cold memories of rain, sun dresses, knee socks and skinned knees, more rain, “fruits and vegetables” hop scotch, double dutch skipping and, of course, rain staying out until the lights came on!  When feeling particularly bored and mischievous, our gang would clamber up and walk the neighborhood…
