it began as just one of those uncontrived, sublime autumn days the enduring and unexpected warmth created an opportunity for spontaneity with a few good friends… so, a ramble through the market to procure fresh pears and plums buttery, nutty cheeses and a jar of Blueberry Orchard Blossom Honey for blue cheese dipping with Fiery Cheddar…
Delicious in pretty pictures, delicious in food content, delicious in the leisurely pace, delicious in the tone of the telling. A thoroughly delectable evening indeed!

Thanks! It was the first time we skipped the whole “sit down for dinner” thing and it was so much nicer, I actually got to sit and enjoy our company without racing around. Will definitely do appetizers only again!

This took me back many years to when my twin daughters entered first grade and how excited they were and how emotional I was. Thanks for the memories.
