Come enjoy music to brighten a November afternoon with great works by Baroque master composers, played by Baroque & Buskin’ String Orchestra. The Double Violin Concerto in D minor by Johann Sebastian Bach will be presented with our special guest soloists, Elisa Sereno-Janz and Carmen Ashmead. To help find a northerly winter mood we will feature the Sinfonia in D by the Swedish composer, Per Brant. Antonio Vivaldi is always a favorite with his Concerto di Ripieno in C, and as special treat for the coming season we will feature selections from Michel-Richard de Lalande’s Noels en Trio. Paris – Venice – Leipzig – Stockholm—Come join us on a Baroque tour through Europe‘s finest, played by Calgary‘s own amateur Baroque orchestra, Baroque & Buskin’ Strings.
