There can be no disputing the joy of living in a city that experiences four full seasons each year. Think of steamy summer days spent at the lake, the harvest moon, scintillating snowflakes and the winter solstice. But perhaps the most anticipated, in fact the most anguishly awaited has to be Spring. This year has been an agonizing wait, while Mother Earth teases us with small glimmers of hope and promptly bestows us with more snow. So, although Vivaldi had it right when he composed the Four Seasons, my fingers are itching to dig in my garden and regretting the length of our Winters here in Canada. Hence, my fresh composition this morning: Winter’s Lament. I hope you enjoy it:)
