My goodness that is cold! Stay warm!
Dearest Claire, we are trying to.. but I wish I lived where you do!!!xxx
I can’t comprehend such cold conditions. I do hope the little girl is doing okay – she mustn’t eat her stitches like my Rosie did – she had to have another general and be restitched because she got to the internal ones as well – nightmare. Beautiful words in your poem and I do hope you can stay warm xx
That was the dilemma, we bought her a “onesie” for dogs but the leg opening was big enough for her to wiggle into. So, we bought her a doggie diaper that covers everything up going the other way. Your poor Rosie.. I can’t imagine!!!
What a coincidence, I just saw an amazing mason jar craft at the home show, but I’m going to make it at the cottage this summer.
Stay warm -40C really sucks. It’s been -14 but feels like -28C with a wind chill, that’s really cold for Toronto.
I’d love to see that craft, mason jars are so perfect for the lake!! Toronto has so much humidity, it must feel that much colder there. When will we have spring, Eva!! I’m so tired of this winter!!
Barb, minus numbers really bother me unless it’s a credit to my bank account. Anything to with the outside temp needs to be on the plus side of 70F for me to like it ! The poem was great.
Paul
Thanks, Paul!! And yes to the bank account!
I’m so glad you’re doing what is most important…caring for your precious pup! I’m so glad she’s doing well. Stay warm by that fire! You write and create such beautiful words, Smidge. ox
Thank you, Deb.. She’s a cuddler, so it makes it easy to look after her:)
I just can’t believe -40C…if the temperature drops to -8C here, I think that the world is coming to an end. This first day of March I noticed the temperature was 0.1C and despaired of Spring’s arrival. Keep warm:)
I think the world has come to an end, doors and windows are stuck and have ice on the inside.. wish I were in 0.1C:D
Stay warm my friend, I cannot comprehend such cold weather!
You write so beautifully as well 🙂
Cheers
Choc Chip Uru
You wouldn’t want to have to ever comprehend it, CCU.. not worth the bother:D
Lovely poem Barbara! I could feel every word. I’m in Canada as well and I am so done with this brutal and unforgiving cold winter!
We need to find a blogger’s conference, maybe for next week.. some place HOT!! xx
No..just no. Those temps make me cringe!! I cannot wait for the sunshine to hit your area and WARM temps. I also cannot wait to see the Mason jar craft, I am sucker for all things Mason!
Beautiful poem Smidge! Wishing your little Bella a quick recovery and sending warm thoughts your way. Take Care, BAM
Such an eloquent and beautiful poem…. (p.s. I actually made the Borscht …and it was good) Diane
😀
Barbara, beautiful poem …. !! You are so creative – you have a beautiful heart, soul and mind.
-40C that is cold .. like Siberia – up in the North of Sweden we can have around -32C and that is terrible cold. We only had mild frost here in the South this winter and now the spring is in full bloom.
