Poetry can lift my soul like nothing else can! When I was little my mother read my sister and me poems every night before bed and I grew up loving how words sing when they’re so artfully penned. Your “shades of light freckled” and a river singing its journey evoke those lovely turned out phrases and remind me of those happy childhood evenings! xo
