Your thoughts here echo my feelings as I used to hike backcountry trails in Wyoming and western Montana, Barb. Those were precious times of respite and peace, far away from all the madness of a contemporary world. Really beautiful thoughts and your words create a wonderful mood. 🙂
Just in from a long journey that was completely unplugged. While reconnecting I clicked here, looking for the Poets Corner.
The picture reminded me of where I was. In the forests of various stages of growth with lofty and hazy dreams of mountains and clouds in the distance.
But the flowers and words of poetry keep me present and remind me of the interconnectivity of all things.
Thank you from another Paul for inspirational beauty.
I believe you told me about that long journey.. love to hear how it went “another Paul”, I think your forests and hazy dreams require much more strenuous adventure than mine:)
It’s been forever since I’ve hiked in the States, I’d love to see some of your photos. Yes.. far far away from all the madness, I love hiking. Thank you for your kind words, Paul:)
Quite beautiful, Barb. Yo’ve reminded me of how much I love hiking through densely wooded areas — and how long its been since I’ve done so. I need to do something about that. 🙂
I’d let it go for far too long as well, I can’t say enough about how amazing hiking in nature feels for me. I hope you do get out there:)
