Intuition Askew
a gray
brume past
settles
dark over
an inner
landscape
obscures
what is
with
what was
and so
the heart
and
mind disconnect-
become at
odds,
misguided
deduce
that here must
be the wild sky
since it
scuds across
the lake’s
surface
an
inverted truth
that distorted
muddles
past
with
present
an
unclouded mind
alone
can clean sweep-
reveal
honesty,
integrity and
courage
for
hidden under
pain
lays raw a
false safe
place
that
unwitting
discredits both
the aching
exquisite
and
the authentic
the heart
must always
all ways
seek
naked truth,
suspend
flawed intuition,
lay bare
a fresh new
presence- a
brighter essence
that
resonates
