My Tiny Home

three moves in three years

hasn’t been fun

but along with the stress is the opportunity to create a life that resonates

to find a home that is a closer reflection of the person you are becoming

i’ve always loved the simplicity found in a smaller home

and i’m trying really hard to reduce my footprint

and live a more minimalist life

ideally i would be in a forest somewhere but when i found this little

beachhouse | cottage

i couldn’t resist

there isn’t an ocean or lake outside my front door,

but I have the cutest little registers

i love details like that

i even have a dining room that just fits my table

and my instragram board

all i had to do was switch out the drapery for my white linen sheers that allow for light and privacy

i’m not a fan of the light fixture and may switch out if i’m here a while,

i’ve done that before and it’s not too difficult

my living room just fits my furniture and has lovely downtown views

but there’s a pretty yard that looks like a forest out back and .. wait for it…

an off-leash park

that Bella is in love with

in fact she picked this home, walking right in the front door

when we first went to take a peak

the ability to walk and bike down through Sunnyside to the river is another great bonus

i’ll show you those photos in another post

i hope you’re having an amazing summer

Love,

Smidge
