The Shoreline

Cool sand
soft holds fast
a life
quiet
carried
to this space
between.

Behind,
the wild, dark
forest
thrums –
in the distance
the Horizon’s
Siren muse
sings.

The tide’s
fine mist
of pure
salt spray
restores
remembers
the reverence
of stillness.

The sun
melts
in a distant
vanishing,
as the sky
gleaming
reveals
her rapturous
stars.

This pure
fragrant space
holds nothing,
yet
holds everything-
a divine
respite of
belonging
and grace.
