Peanut Butter Turkey Burgers
 
 
Ingredients
  • 3 x 300 grams ground turkey breast
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter, smooth
  • 2 tsp Louisiana Hot Sauce (3 for spicy)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp thyme, dried
  • 1 cup cilantro, minced
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves, minced
  • 1/3 cup chives, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Mix all ingredients together, kneading vigorously until everything is well blended. Extra kneading helps the burger hold its’ shape.
  3. Shape into patties of desired size.
  4. Lightly oil the grill before placing the burgers on.
  5. Leave to cook with the lid down until the bottom has grilled a golden brown. If it is difficult to flip, leave until that side is fully cooked, then turn.
  6. Burgers are done when the center meat is no longer rare and cooked through.
