We went Vineyard hopping and too many glasses of wine later we were up on a hillside in Kelowna at
Movita, I went to cooking school!!!
(well, just for one night and I didn’t get a white jacket OR clogs)
This is awesome Chef Steve and his wife Chrissy Marston…
Everyone else was fooling around, but not me, I was a good student!

The next morning we headed to the Oyama Zipline, where
“Buttercup” (aka Smidge aka Barb),
was showing off that she used to rock climb,
so of course they made her to jump off the platform first!!
Her nickname should have been Miss Scaredy Pants

The crazy thing about holidays..
is you can’t wait to leave but then

Oh, MY! LOVED IT! That jump, I started the video with my hands already getting cold and sweaty (contradiction in terms, I am fully aware) – but I guess you start off slowly enough that I could probably do it. Of course, I would start screaming from the top of my lungs, your friend has a ton more class than I do! 😉

What a fantastic gang of beautiful and fun-loving ladies. The weekend must have been a gag!!!! Great photos too … that photo of that dish is breathtaking – you should get into styling and food photography *smile – you will do very well.
The little video great – that would be me too .. know exactly how she felt … so deadly scared of heights when I know there is a chance I will survive if I fall down.

This is the recipe for a great holiday: spend your days taking part in fun-filled activities and fill your evenings with good food & drink, all the while surrounded by good friends. It’s obviously a winning recipe, too. Just look at those smiling faces in every shot. (Well, except for that ever-so-studious “apple polisher” in the cooking class.) It sounds like you all really enjoyed yourselves, Barb. Good for you!

How delightful! The times I spend with my “old group” of friends is always precious to me. It is obvious this was a nourishing time for each of you and I really enjoyed the photos. Lovely!
What a wonderful girl trip! Just had one of those myself recently and those are truly memorable and glorious. I went ziplining for my son’s 16th birthday two years ago. I was embarrassingly terrified. I quite after three “rides” when I could walk down some high stairs and officially chicken out. You are a brave woman Buttercup!
