♥
We’d love for you to meet our newest addition to our family..
Bella came home Friday night and we are over the moon excited to have her join our family.
It’s amazing how much joy she has brought us!
She’s settling in, waking up only once last night and is well on her way to being trained,
so she’s smart as well!
She is not impressed with our snow and will run for only a few feet before climbing on our shoes to be picked up:D
She is a cavalier spaniel and bichon cross.. a cavachon. Her features are definitely more spaniel and her fur is silken like a spaniels.
Her parents were only 10 and 14 pounds so she will be a small one.
♥
Of course her proud family thinks she is just the best pup ever.
I am in love! Her reaction to snow is similar to mine, except that no one seems to pick me up EVER. So unfair!
I was anxiously waiting for your post, having noticed the Facebook entry yesterday – what a cutie pie she is, Beautiful Bella indeed!
Enjoy the ride, there is nothing quite like having a puppy around, and I am very happy for you!
Hahaha.. I agree, Sally, no one ever wants to carry me either:D
Aaaaaw! What a beautiful addition, Smidge! Congratulations! Hope Bella gets used to the snow 🙂
Thanks, Ruth.. our Lucky used to love the snow.. but she’s a new dog so you never know!!
Now I have even more reason to come and visit the Bambers! Bella is absolutely to die for! Xoxo, CIndy
Yes, Cindy!! Come visit:D
Beautiful! She reminds me of Lady in Lady and the tramp. Have fun!
Happiness is a new puppy.
I was thinking the same thing, Ros:D She is bringing so much joy!
What a sweetheart! The breeder where I got my last 2 Bernese Mountain dogs also had Cavaliers and they’re a pretty, smart, and sweet dog.
She sure seems smart, Diane, or very keen to learn and please:) We feel we picked a “good one”!xx
She is adorable – lucky all of you .
Congrats on the new addition to your family! What a beautiful dog – she’s gorgeous. And a real cutie. We expect pictures of her every week. 😉
John, you may regret saying that:D
I am soo in love with her!! I have a Bella too! I hope to see lots of puppy pics, they grow so fast, you must capture every moment….and share them all please!!
I had to go back and search for a photo.. I’d forgotten.. you have a Bella and a Bellagio!! How adorable they are. I saw your recipe for dog treats as well.. I will have to make some of those for her:D
She’s so cute!
Bella certainly is beautiful. I’m so glad you have another dog after such a heartbreaking loss earlier this year. Bella is just gorgeous and what a sweet, sweet face. xx
She will heal that heart ache for us, I’m certain. Now we’re remembering Lucky but mostly happy memories:) xx
Che bellissima! Easy to fall in love with this little doll! May you have a long and joyful time with her. 😀
xoxo
Bella is just adorable! i can surely see why she’d steal your heart! She makes a wonderful addition to the family. 🙂
She’s lovely Barbara! So now I know why you were asking us our favourite dog breeds a while back… A dog (or two!) is a wonderful companion and they bring sunshine into the house, as well as mud, leaves, snow… 😉 Have lots of fun with her! 😀
Smidge, Bella is absolutely adorable and just too perfect for words. She could not be with a more loving and wonderful family. I don’t blame her for not liking the snow, I am not one for the cold either and how lovely to be able to snuggle her warm again.
I am so pleased you have been able to fill the gap in your hearts from your loss earlier this year with a new and precious puppy.
Have a beautiful week ahead.
🙂 Mandy xo
que bella que bella!! what an adorable pup. (and so pretty in pink.) I don’t think I could be more delighted for you Smidge! to a long life as good friends!!! xox
She is SO cute! What fun you’re going to have with her.
Beautiful Bella will bring so much love and joy into your home – well, you know that already from your wonderful years with Lucky. My Alfi and Luna send her a special doggy hug 🙂
OMG Smidge ! I’ve been away for a few weeks so am only now slowly catching up on my reading – BELLA IS GORGEOUS !!! I love her little squishy puppy face and I am so happy you have four furry feet in your home again.
Heehee.. thanks, Carolyn:D We kiss that little face every few minutes!! xx
Congratulations! Bella, you could not have picked a better family to adopt. Just stay away from Mrs. when she’s crafting and you’ll never hear so much as a harsh word.
PS … Good idea refusing to walk in the snow. Start their training on Day One.
I’m doing my best, Mr. Chgo John, but she doesn’t always do as I say. She should be giving me more treats and then I wouldn’t chew on her sweater. *sigh* humans..
I’ve been catching up on all your posts since I returned home from Europe and I absolutely love the new member to your family…Bella is the perfect name for such a sweet looking little one.
